Top 3 Highlights - 2022 Customer Conference

Prince of Wales Hotel, Niagara-on-the-Lake (ON)

WrightPlan’s inaugural customer conference excites & inspires with value-packed workshops, product enhancements, and elegant excursions.

Taking place at the historic Prince of Wales hotel in beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON, leaders from across North America’s crane, rigging, and machinery moving industries gathered for 3-days of expert-led workshops, new product demonstrations, and premier dining experiences.

Giving Customers a Voice

“Really liked the facilitation of dialogue amongst the user group.”

Relevant session topics, coupled with small, intimate group settings helped facilitate dialogue amongst attendees that were beneficial in terms of understanding industry best practices, and more importantly — how to successfully navigate change management.

Tackling the challenges associated with software implementation & ‘internal’ buy-in was top-of-mind for attendees looking to maximize business potential through WrightPlan’s products and services.

“Eye-opening to expanding our abilities.”

Sessions ranged from business forecasting and sales cycle reduction tactics, to project management, field document collection, and even a self-assessment session focused on improving individual company processes, as well as WrightPlan’s own.

Dispatch 2.0 - A Live Walkthrough

As we push our products forward, it’s always exciting when we get to debut new enhancements to our customer base — especially in person! So with plenty of interest on hand at this year’s conference, WrightPlan’s Product and Software Development divisions teamed up to debut the second iteration of our Dispatching module.

“I really like the new dispatching look. Love the one-page idea and ease-of-use.”

The goal of Dispatch 2.0 is to provide dispatchers with one point of contact in WrightPlan while still providing them with all the necessary information and resources relevant to their position. Users must no longer have to leave the main dispatch page for secondary functions like employee & resource/equipment availability.

With major overhauls to the module’s User Interface (UI), WrighPlan’s Dispatch 2.0 offers a simplified workflow courtesy of its advanced filtering capabilities, detailed job-context menu, job-status transition indicators, and so much more.

Future functionality planned for Dispatch 2.0 includes the following enhancements:

  • dispatch communication (texting; live & direct communication to Field Solutions);

  • batch processing;

  • and job-related alerts from the field.

Enjoying the Sites, Sounds, and Tastes of Niagara

Between its historic tours, delicious restaurants, famous wineries and boutique shopping, ‘there’s something about Niagara-on-the-Lake that makes you want to linger.’

While the conference schedule was packed with educational sessions, Team WrightPlan made sure to treat attendees and spouses to some of the best that Niagara has to offer in terms of food & entertainment.

“The personal touch for each attendee was appreciated."

On the morning of Day 1, a handful of customers and WrightPlan staff took in a round of 18 at the beautiful Ussher’s Creek golf course. Then, on the evening of Day 2, all conference attendees boarded the hotel’s old ‘trolly’, where they were transported to the Peller Estates Winery.

There, guests were treated to a deliciously refreshing Ice Cuvee reception, followed by an amazing dinner served in the wine cellar of Peller Estates — fittingly named the ‘Barrel Room.’

Finally, as if the evening weren't 'sweet' enough, guests indulged in a ‘DIY’ dessert; complete with firepits and enormous ice wine marshmallows for roasting!

Until next year!

WrightPlan would like to thank all the presenters, attendees and spouses for making our first-ever customer conference a success! We’d also like to thank the staff at the Prince of Wales Hotel, Peller Estates Winery, Ussher’s Creek GC, and Niagara Ghost Tours for being so accommodating.
